Note: This is a working summary of our terms, not a final lawyer-reviewed document. Everything in here represents what we genuinely intend to commit to — but the formal version, with proper legal language, will replace this page before public launch. If anything below seems unclear or unfair, write to us and we'll discuss it.

1. Overview — what you're buying

When you buy Eviga, you are paying us to: capture stories from a person you nominate (the "recipient") via WhatsApp over twelve months, weave those stories into written chapters using AI, host the resulting voice clips and chapters on EU servers, and produce one printed hardcover book of the finished memoir. You become a "founding supporter" — one of the first 50 people to back the product before public launch.

By completing checkout, you agree to these terms and our privacy policy.

2. Founding supporter terms

Founding supporters get a specific arrangement that public-launch customers will not get:

3. What's included in £149

4. Refund policy

Before launch

If we have not launched the public service by the date we commit to at checkout, you receive a full automatic refund. The £149 sits in Stripe, ringfenced. We do not draw it down to fund operations until launch.

You can also cancel for any reason before launch — write to support@myeviga.com and we will refund you in full within 7 business days. No questions asked.

After launch / activation

Once your gift is activated and the recipient has begun engaging, we cannot offer a clean refund — we have begun delivering the service, and the engagement itself has value. However, three things are still true:

Our default disposition on refunds is generosity. We would rather refund someone who maybe didn't strictly qualify than keep money from someone who's unhappy.

5. Delivery and shipping

This is important. Eviga involves capturing stories from a person who is not the buyer. Here's how we handle their consent:

7. Permitted use

Eviga is provided for personal, family use. Specifically:

8. Content ownership

This is one of the most important sections.

Who owns what the recipient says

The voice clips, photos, transcripts, and chapters belong to the recipient. They are the author of their own life story.

Your rights as the buyer

By giving Eviga as a gift, you have an implied license to receive, view, and possess the resulting book and digital archive. You may share them with family. You may NOT publish the recipient's stories commercially without their separate, written permission.

Eviga's rights

Eviga has a limited license to use the recipient's contributions solely to deliver the service to you. We do not claim any ownership of the resulting memoir. We may not use her stories in marketing, demos, training data, or any other purpose without her separate, written consent.

If the recipient passes away

The voice clips, transcripts, and chapters become the property of her legal estate, governed by the inheritance laws of her jurisdiction. The Eviga service continues to function (the QR codes still play her voice). The dashboard access transfers to whoever you nominate.

9. Service availability

10. Additional copies of the book

Once the digital archive is finished — or partially finished, at any point — you can order additional printed copies. Pricing:

These prices are estimated for the founding supporter period. Final pricing will be confirmed before any additional order.

11. Account and security

12. Changes to the service

Eviga is an evolving product. We may add features, refine the AI's interview style, change the dashboard interface, or improve the printing quality. We will not make material reductions to what's included in your purchase without notice.

Changes that affect price apply only to new customers — your locked-in £149 remains £149.

13. Liability and disclaimers

Eviga is provided on an as-is basis. While we take great care with technology and data, we cannot guarantee:

Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the service. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for things that cannot legally be limited (e.g. fraud, gross negligence, or under EU consumer protection law).

14. Disputes and governing law

These terms are governed by Swedish law. We hope you'll never need this section.

If something goes wrong

Our default position is to fix things. Email support@myeviga.com with the problem and we will work to resolve it. Most issues are resolved in days, not weeks.

If we cannot resolve it directly

EU consumer law gives you the right to use online dispute resolution at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

If it goes to court

Disputes will be resolved in Swedish courts unless EU consumer law provides for a more favorable jurisdiction.
